Andra Pop-Jurj

Andra is an architectural designer and multidisciplinary researcher. She holds a BA from the Technical University of Munich and MA in Architecture from the Royal College of Art.

In her work, she has investigated the spatial manifestation of geopolitical conflicts in the Arctic region caused by environmental degradation. Building upon this, her MA thesis explored forms of multispecies cohabitation alongside extractive economies in the Yamal peninsula.

She is currently engaged with a collective research practice that operates across scales and media, with the outlook to expand these themes further.
