FA director Eyal Weizman has been awarded the 2024 Mark Cousins Theory Award on behalf of Forensic Architecture, in recognition of his and FA’s ‘groundbreaking work opening up a new line of theoretical enquiry into architecture and urbanism as the site of various socio-political violations, especially involving human rights’. Intended to honour the work of Mark Cousins, this award is given annually by DigitalFUTURES, an educational platform run by volunteers and dedicated to the free sharing of information.

The awards ceremony was held on 28 July 2024.
