Exposing an industry of detention, extortion, release, and re-capture sustained by EU support, the investigation presents the experiences of migrants and refugees in detention centres across Libya. Bringing together testimonies, satellite image analysis, and 3D reconstruction, the film traces the evolution of Libya’s detention industry, and its ongoing relationship with externalised EU border controls, through the accounts of those who have survived it.
