Robert Trafford

Robert, or Bob, is an Assistant Director at Forensic Architecture, and the Deputy Director of Forensis e.V. In each organisation, he supports team members with project coordination and strategy, research, scriptwriting, and partnership-building. He also supports both organisations’ fundraising and donor stewardship, and leads FA’s editorial team.

Robert joined Forensic Architecture in 2017, before which he worked as a freelance journalist. He has reported for the Intercept, the Times, the Independent, Vice, and elsewhere. Robert holds a BA (Hons) in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Oxford, and an MA in Investigative Journalism from City, University of London. Robert formally joined Forensis in 2025.
